Representative Julia Brownley and Sandra Tsing Loh playing with the Arcade

The Education Funding Arcade that Dave Zobel and I made for the Children's Rally in Sacramento was a big success! We used cast off industrial materials from Trash for Teaching. see more photos on my Flickr page www.flickr.com/photos/bethelliott

Here is an in progress pic of the School Budget Money Arcade that Dave Zobel and I are making for Sandra Tsing Loh's Rally in Sacramento next tue. June 23
It has Rube Goldberg parts with golf balls dropping through one tube to another, parts spinning, $100 bill bean bags to throw into the clown's mouth & $100 bills seeming to pour out through a funnel, other cool things to do & play with - all pointing up the ineffeciency of school funding. People will be able to add parts in Sacramento at the Rally.
We made it by re-using cast off industrial materials from Trash for Teaching.
